Shannon R. Reichelt, CPA, the managing member of the S. Reichelt & Company has been serving the business community and individuals with their accounting and tax needs for the past 10 years.

 

Shortly after Shannon graduated from Westfield State College with high honors earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Management/Accounting in 2001.  She spent her college years working as a full charge bookkeeper developing her internal financial skills.  In her senior year she was recruited by a large Springfield accounting and business consulting firm where her skills as a public accountant began. In 2005 Shannon earned her CPA (Certified Public Accounting) license and was eager to start her own practice.

 

In 2006, Shannon decided to strike out on her own and formed S. Reichelt & Co., LLC.  By combining the skills she developed as a CPA and someone familiar with the demands and concerns of internal management she saw that many small businesses and sole proprietors needed this exact service but at a level that was affordable to a developing business.

 

In 2007, William T. Reichelt, CPA joined the firm. Bill brings to the firm more than 36 years of accounting and tax consulting experience. He has a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Business Administration from Western New England College. Professional licenses include a Certified Public Accountant and Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Bill provides tax, accounting, financial planning, management advisory services, business valuation and litigation support services to individuals, businesses and professional service firms.

 

Shannon and Bill currently reside in Hadley with their two furry kids Daisy Duke and Katie Pie.
